This is such a great resource. The Brown Betty recipe is one I use especially often; it is insanely good.
What a fantastic achievement, Carolyn! I’m into a no-sugar diet at the moment except I allow myself one cake a week, with reduced sugar. There are loads of good ideas here for that one treat (which also has to be high fibre). I’ve just read Robert Lustig’s book ‘Fat Chance: the Bitter Truth About Sugar’. As a result I yesterday reached my weight loss target of two stone! It feels like it’s taken forever to get here – a year – but I’m so proud of my achievement. You’ve been a big inspiration. I’m determined to maintain now on this new regime. I hope your weight is under control too. Good luck with everything else in your life, and the house sale.
Well done on acheiving your goal!
