Wow this made me homesick!
I used to live in Warwick, near Stratford-upon-Avon – as much as I love Canada (my new home) let’s face it – NO ONE beats the Brits for Spirit and Eccentricity.
Thanks, made my day.

Ooo if you do tell us all about it! Looks like being able to dance is helpful if popping in for a cuppa tea there!

It really does look brilliant doesn’t it? It’s not even a one off day, apparently customers go out of their way to dress like this. The staff wear the uniforms all the time lol! We really are an eccentric lot here in old blighty

I organised that particular get together which was videoed. We meet at the FourTeas occasionally in 1940s gear to have a cup of tea and a scone, and it’s great fun walking through Stratford all dressed up. The owners (Rachael and Ian) are delightful and the food is definitely worth a detour.
