For anyone who is interested in reading authentic Ministry of Food WW2 recipe and food information leaflets I have a growing collection on Pinterest you may find interesting!
Sometimes it’s lovely to sit down with a cup of tea and browse.
I have various themed WW2 Pinterest Boards you may find fun!
Tonight I will be tucked up in bed early scouring the internet for additions to my boards. I’m enjoying ‘home-front photos’ right now, and am ALWAYS on the look out for new Ministry of Food leaflets that have been put online.

Thank you for pinning the leaflets, Carolyn; I have a few of those myself. I’m already a follower of yours on Pinterest. I mentioned your site on my blog (http://frugalknit-wit.blogspot.co.uk) yesterday and hope you don’t mind but I posted your Wartime Vegetable and Oatmeal Goulash recipe (attributed to you) along with changes I made to it. I found it a bit bland and would spice it up next time, but it made for a perfectly acceptable and extremely frugal dinner. I’ve posted Ruth Mott’s Cheese Pudding recipe tonight from the Wartime Kitchen and Garden. I love your blog, it’s a real inspiration. Love, Helen x
