The 1940s Experiment Amazon Store Front

Dear all,

Just to let you know that I now have a little vintage and food inspired storefront set up on the Amazon Influencers Program which I got accepted onto recently.

It will be a place that I’ll list anything I use in my kitchen or home or to make things with that I think you might like more info on. Recently I’d been asked about my jars and black labels. All the info is now on there. If you click through to the store and scroll down you will see that I have categories such as kitchen, wartime cookbooks, home decor etc. where I list products that I use and love.

It is an affiliate store so if you do buy something via my storefront then I may earn a small commission. To give you an example from the books I recommended in 2019 I earned myself a £25 Amazon Gift Certficate. It’s not much but it enables me to buy seeds or buy a couple of books!

Thank you as always for your support.

Stay calm, stay safe, stay home

  1. Hi Carolyn,
Hope you are keeping safe. It is nice to see what you are doing with your garden. I am doing something similar at home. I am having to work from home at the moment, and with reduced hours/salary, I find that I have some extra time. I am digging over my bottom garden. I am taking my time as I am in no particular rush. It is also a garden area that hasn’t been touched for 20 odd years. I have planted spuds, and have seed trays with beetroot, broccoli, spring onions, tomatoes, carrots, and green beans.
One thing to add to your Amazon page is the Christmas Stars made from strips of paper.

    • Ooo sounds like you have some nice veggies going in! I need to order some onion sets as have NEVER managed to grow an onion ever, determined!! 😀 Hope everything goes OK for you at work with regards to the COVID-19 economy xxx

  2. Dear Carolyn,
I am so happy to read that you are on Amazon now! Congratulations! I’ve been following you for several years, (website, Instagram ) and love your ideas and attitude. You are an inspiration and I wish you all the best!

    • Awww thanks for your TOO KIND words, it’s just a list of products I’ve bought on Amazon and use that I thought people might be interested in that I sometimes get asked about. The 20 p commissions here and there soon add up to get a book or two so that’s nice! Thanks for popping onto my blog and reading and using the recipes, it means a lot! C xxxxx
