It’s so humbling to see what was sacrificed for us. I’ve been teary all day.
Thank you for posting this. It is very right to remember that each was someone’s child. I try to imagine it. It breaks my heart. I hope I have done a respectful job of conveying this in my novel. I’m married to a sailor and my dad was a soldier in Vietnam. God bless them all.

Thank you for posting this. It’s been a sobering day today as we remember the extraordinary men that faught so bravely inspite of the oposition they faced.
I’ve had tears of gratitude as I remember and honour that Greatest Generation, of which my parents were a part. Such courage… Such a pivotal moment in history.
